ORGANIZAÇÕES NÃO GOVERNAMENTAIS E REDES SOCIAIS: UM ESTUDO NO ESTADO DO RIO DE JANEIRO
O presente artigo tem como objetivo
analisar a utilização das redes sociais por
quatro Organizações Não Governamentais
(ONGs) que desenvolvem ações educativas
no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Este trabalho
faz parte do grupo de pesquisa de Políticas
Públicas, Gestão e Formação de Educadores da
Universidade Estácio de Sá (UNESA) que realiza
sistematicamente pesquisas no âmbito das
relações entre os diferentes espaços formativos
no tocante às ações educativas destinadas aos
jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade social.
A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir de análise
documental e de entrevistas semiestruturadas
realizadas com os coordenadores pedagógicos
nas instituições elencadas. A utilização
das redes sociais ocorre tanto no intuito
de ampliar a comunicação das ações
educativas desenvolvidas nas comunidades
e divulgadas nos sites institucionais como
também para arrecadar doações. Constatouse também a utilização das redes sociais
para um acompanhamento assistemático de
egressos, atividade apresentada como de
grande dificuldade de execução pelas ONGs,
principalmente devido à falta de recursos.

Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze the use of social networks by four Non
Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that develop educational actions in the state of
Rio de Janeiro. This work is part of the Research Group of Public Policies, Management
and Training of Educators of the University Estácio de Sá (UNESA) that systematically
conducts research in the scope of the relations between the different formative spaces
in relation to educational actions aimed at young people in situations of vulnerability
social. The research was developed based on documentary analysis and semistructured interviews with the pedagogical coordinators in the listed institutions. The use
of social networks occurs both in order to broaden the communication of educational
actions developed in communities and publicized on institutional sites as well as to
collect donations. It was also verified the use of social networks for an non-systematic
follow-up of graduates, an activity presented as a major difficulty for NGOs to carry out,
mainly due to a lack of resources.
