Operación Masacre (1972) e o cinema de intervenção política na Argentina
O objeto dessa pesquisa é o filme argentino Operación Masacre, de 1972, dirigido por Jorge Cedrón. O filme é uma obra política, baseada no livro investigativo de mesmo nome do jornalista Rodolfo Walsh, que conta a história de um fuzilamento de operários que aconteceu em um terreno baldio na cidade de José León Suárez, em 1956, durante a ditadura da “Revolução Libertadora” que depôs Perón em 1955. A narrativa, realizada clandestinamente durante a ditadura da “Revolução Argentina” de Lanusse, tem o propósito de conscientizar a população da injustiça dos governos autoritários e lutar pela volta de Perón, como saída para aquele momento político. O objetivo é entender o discurso político do filme e sua influência cinematográfica, levando em consideração o conjunto de acontecimentos políticos e culturais das décadas de 1960 e 1970. O movimento do Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano aparece nesse período para atender às questões de uma militância intelectual que buscava fazer uma arte próxima da realidade e da luta do povo, distante de um cinema comercial. Operación Masacre segue nessa direção e trabalha com o testemunho de um episódio real, a fala militante peronista e a propaganda de uma luta revolucionária.

Abstract:
The object of this research is the Argentinian film Operación Masacre, from 1972, directed by Jorge Cedrón. The film is a political work, based upon the investigative journalism book of the same title from the journalist Rodolfo Walsh, that tells the story of a shooting of workmen that happened in an empty lot in José León Suárez, in 1956, during the dictatorship time of the Liberation Revolution, which deposed Perón in 1955. The narrative, illegally made during the Argentinean Revolution dictatorship time led by Lanusse, has the purpose of raising awareness about the injustice of the authoritarian government and fight for the comeback of Perón as a way out of that political moment. This work aims to understand the political speech of the film and its cinematic influence, assuming the political and cultural facts of the 60s and 70s. The New Latin American Cinema movement arises to answer the questions of an intellectual activism that was looking for making an art that was closer to their reality and the fight of their people, away from a commercial cinema. Operación Masacre follows this direction and works with the story of a real episode, a peronism activism speech and a dissemination of a revolutionary fight.
