OFICINAS DE SABONETES ARTESANAIS E SAIS DE BANHO EM ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS
O Projeto de Pesquisa “Química Orgânica: A Química dos óleos essenciais e suas aplicações” pertencente a CHAMADA UNIVERSAL CNPq/ MCTI Nº 31/2018 “Meninas nas Ciências Exatas, Engenharias e Computação, tem como objetivo principal despertar o interesse vocacional de estudantes do sexo feminino dos ensinos fundamental, médio e superior para carreiras nas áreas de Engenharias e Ciências Exatas. Neste contexto foram realizadas oficinas de sabonetes artesanais e sais de banho fora dos horários letivos com intuito de atrair a atenção dos alunos para as aplicações da química orgânica e dos óleos essenciais. Na ocasião, o percurso metodológico foi realizado com crianças, adolescentes, pais e funcionários de escolas públicas municipais e estaduais da cidade de Angatuba, interior do estado de São Paulo e posteriormente foi realizada uma análise de impactos dessas atividades na formação de opiniões dos participantes, especialmente das meninas envolvidas. Através deste trabalho foi possível realizar atividades extracurriculares que não são oferecidas aos alunos de escolas públicas. Observou-se que grande número de participantes nunca havia realizado uma atividade prática em suas respectivas escolas. Outro ponto a ser destacado foi a participação de pais e familiares nas atividades práticas.

Abstract:
The Research Project "Organic Chemistry: Chemistry of essential oils and their applications" belongs to CNPq/MCTI UNIVERSAL CALL Nº 31/2018 "Girls in the Exact Sciences, Engineering and Computing”, has as its main objective to awaken the vocational interest of female students from elementary, middle and higher education for careers in the fields of Engineering and Exact Sciences. In this context, workshops on handmade soaps and bath salts were held outside school hours in order to attract students' attention to the applications of organic chemistry and essential oils. At the time, the methodological path was carried out with children, adolescents, parents and employees of municipal and state public schools in the city of Angatuba, in the the state of São Paulo, and later an analysis of the impacts of these activities on the formation of opinions of the participants was carried out, especially among the girls involved in the project. Through this work, it was possible to carry out extracurricular activities that are not offered to public school students. It was observed that a large number of participants had never participated in a practical activity in their respective schools. Another point to be highlighted was the participation of parents and family members in practical activities.
