OBJOR-MT - OBSERVATÓRIO DA ÉTICA JORNALÍSTICA EM MATO GROSSO:LEITURAS DE MUNDO, EUCAÇÃO PARA AS MÍDIAS E DEONTOLOGIA JORNALÍSTICA
O presente trabalho tem por
objetivo refletir sobre a base teórica, avanços e
conquistas do projeto de Extensão “Observatório
da Ética Jornalística Em Mato Grosso” (OBJORMT),
quando este completa três anos de
implantação, desenvolvimento e manutenção
institucional. O OBJOR-MT tem foco prioritário
na análise de conteúdo regional do Estado
de Mato Grosso e se trata de uma iniciativa
acadêmica que se sedimenta na perspectiva
teórica da Educação Crítica para as Mídias –
sedimentadas principalmente em reflexões de
Kellner (2008), Freire (1996) e outros teóricos
que refletem sobre teorias da comunicação,
jornalismo, ética e educação e que se justifica na
articulação entre Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão
– com a participação de docentes, estudantes
do curso de Jornalismo da Universidade do
Estado de Mato Grosso e sociedade - voltada
para o fomento de um vínculo crítico com a
cultura profissional jornalística.

Abstract:
The objective of this paper is
to reflect on the theoretical basis, advances
and achievements of the Extension project
“Observatory of Journalistic Ethics in Mato
Grosso” (OBJOR-MT), when it completes
three years of implementation, development
and institutional maintenance. The OBJOR-MT
has a priority focus on the analysis of regional
content in the state of Mato Grosso and is
an academic initiative that sedimates in the
theoretical perspective of Critical Education
for Media - sedimented mainly in reflections of
Kellner (2008), Freire (1996) and other theorists
that reflect on theories of communication,
journalism, ethics and education and that is
justified in the articulation between Teaching,
Research and Extension - with the participation
of teachers, students of the Journalism course
of the State University of Mato Grosso and
society - focused on the promotion of a critical
link with professional journalistic culture.
