Abstract: This work aims to analyze the possible contributions of using the GeoGebra software on cell phone for teaching and learning the Modular Function in 1st year high school classes. The research had a qualitative approach based on the observation of students' participation in classroom activities and online assessment activities. Thus, their prior knowledge regarding the concept of module and absolute value was verified. Then, some graphic constructions were performed manually. Soon after, the students used GeoGebra on their devices to sketch graphs of some functions. Then they used the online game, Kahoot. In this way, it was possible to verify that the use of GeoGebra on mobile devices as a pedagogical resource, in Mathematics classes, contributed to the teaching and learning of the content worked through the graphic visualization of the functions, considering that there was more interest and participation from the students. It was also found that the devices can be used in some activities to make classes more attractive and dynamic.
