O USO DO FACEBOOK COMO PLATAFORMA DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM PARA AULAS DE CIÊNCIAS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL
As ferramentas educacionais digitais são uma necessidade quando se fala em inovação na Educação. No entanto, o cenário imposto pela pandemia da Covid-19 fez com que as instituições de ensino acelerassem a incorporação dessas tecnologias no trabalho pedagógico. O Facebook é uma rede social abrangente e democrática, que pode ser explorada na prática educativa. Esse trabalho tem como objetivo investigar o interesse de professores em utilizar o Facebook como plataforma de ensino- aprendizagem em aulas de Ciências do Ensino Fundamental, na rede pública estadual de Sorocaba-SP. Para tal, foi realizado um Encontro Formativo virtual para 94 professores de Ciências, promovido pela Diretoria de Ensino, que teve como finalidade apresentar o Facebook como ferramenta educacional para ensino remoto, no período de aulas não presenciais. Foram aplicados dois questionários eletrônicos estruturados semiabertos, sendo um logo após o encontro e outro, após 45 dias. Como resultado, observou-se que o Facebook é uma rede social bem aceita pelos professores, revelando que a maioria pretende utilizar em suas práticas pedagógicas. Os limitadores perpassam pela falta de afinidade ou críticas pessoais ao Facebook, falta de tempo e restrições de uso por parte dos alunos, seja pela falta de internet ou de dispositivo para acesso.

Abstract:
Online educational tools are indispensable when it comes to innovation in education. However, the scenario imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic caused educational institutions to accelerate the incorporation of these technologies in pedagogical work. Facebook is a comprehensive and democratic social network, which can be explored in educational practice. This work aims to understand the feasibility and limitations of the use of Facebook as a teaching/learning platform in elementary science classes, by teachers from the state public network of Sorocaba-SP. To this end, a virtual formative meeting was held with 94 science teachers, promoted by the Education Directorate and its purpose was to present Facebook as an educational tool for remote teaching, during online classes. Two semi-open structured electronic questionnaires were applied, one after the meeting and the other after 45 days. As a result, it was observed that Facebook is a social network well accepted by teachers, revealing that the majority intend to use it in their pedagogical practices. Some of the limitations are the lack of affinity with the platform and criticism of Facebook by some, as well as restrictions on the students end, either because they don't have time to use it, cannot access internet, or electronic devices are not readily available.
