O USO DO CELULAR EM SALA DE AULA E SEU EFEITO NAS PRÁTICAS PEDAGÓGICAS. ESTUDO COM ALUNOS DO TERCEIRO GRAU
Este estudo trata de um tema contemporâneo com potencial de provocar conflitos entre professores e alunos. Buscou investigar a percepção dos alunos quanto ao uso do celular como recurso pedagógico durante as aulas. Decorre de pesquisa exploratória realizada junto aos 12.867 alunos regularmente matriculados nos cursos da UFABC no 3o Quadrimestre do ano de 2018, por intermédio da plataforma Google-Drive-Forms, no período de 25/09/2018 a 25/10/2018. As 1.536 respostas recebidas foram tabuladas e analisadas com suporte dos softwares SPSS e Planilha Excel. Os resultados apontaram que 86,4% dos alunos participantes são usuários desses equipamentos em sala de aula, que 63,3% deles o usam para acessar a Internet e que 33,3% o fazem para pesquisar assuntos relativos à aula. 57,3% dos alunos informaram que os professores utilizam recursos dos celulares para fins didáticos e 41,8% deles afirmaram que os professores orientam para não utilizarem. A pesquisa mostrou que 67,6% dos alunos considera que a Universidade deveria incentivar o uso do celular em sala de aula para fins didáticos. Conforme 37,1% dos alunos, o uso do celular não atrapalha as aulas enquanto para 46,1% deles, o uso tem o potencial de atrapalhar o andamento das aulas.

Abstract:
This study deals with a contemporary theme with the potential to cause conflicts between teachers and students. It sought to investigate the students' perception regarding the use of cell phones as a pedagogical resource during classes. It results from an exploratory research carried out with 12,867 students regularly enrolled in UFABC courses in the 3rd Quarter of the year 2018, through the Google-Drive-Forms platform, in the period from 25/09/2018 to 10/25/2018. The 1,536 responses received were tabulated and analyzed using SPSS and Excel Spreadsheet software. The results showed that 86.4% of the participating students are users of this equipment in the classroom, that 63.3% of them use it to access the Internet and that 33.3% do it to research subjects related to the class. 57.3% of students reported that teachers use cell phone resources for educational purposes and 41.8% of them stated that teachers advise not to use them. The research showed that 67.6% of students considered that the University should encourage the use of the cell phone in the classroom for didactic purposes. According to 37.1% of the students, the use of the cell phone does not disturb the classes while for 46.1% of them, the use has the potential to hinder the course of the classes.
