Abstract: The study of Embryology is essential in the teaching of Biology, as it provides a solid foundation for understanding how life develops from its earliest stages. However, the complexity of the content makes it challenging to understand and learn. Educational games play a crucial role in embryology teaching, offering an interactive and engaging approach that captivates students. They are challenging and stimulate creativity, making them cooperate actively, improving their learning and awakening interest in the content, helping to overcome difficulties in understanding and making the learning experience more fun and memorable. The work was produced during the Embryology discipline, Block IV of the Biological Sciences course at UESPI. The objective was to create and develop an educational game about Embryology that would assist in the teaching/learning process in a dynamic and interactive way, promoting student engagement and stimulating learning. Personalized cards were used in Canva and printed on cardstock to make them easier to handle, as well as slides with rules and instructions. The game is structured in two phases, each with specific dynamics, encouraging students' progress and understanding in an interactive way. The activity promoted engaging learning, encouraging active participation and teamwork. The activity promoted engaging learning, encouraging active participation and teamwork. The use of this game was effective in improving student performance and understanding, providing an experience of knowledge building, engagement and familiarity with the topic. Positive feedback from students confirms the effectiveness of this approach in teaching Embryology and Biological Sciences.
