O USO DE JOGOS EDUCATIVOS NO ENSINO DA LÍNGUA INGLESA EM TURMAS REGULARES DO SEGUNDO ANO DO ENSINO MÉDIO NA ESCOLA ESTADUAL PADRE LUÍS RUAS
O presente artigo é uma síntese da dissertação de Mestrado de mesmo título. O objetivo geral foi compreender de que maneira os jogos educativos auxiliam os professores de Língua Inglesa das turmas de 2º ano do Ensino Médio da Escola Estadual Padre Luís Ruas durante o desenvolvimento das quatro habilidades e competências básicas de língua inglesa pelos discentes. A perspectiva da investigação realizada foi de natureza mista (quantitativa e qualitativa) através da aplicação de questionários pré e pós pesquisa e dois jogos. Os resultados da pesquisa demonstraram que os jogos contribuíram para a aprendizagem da Língua Inglesa, principalmente das habilidades de ler, escrever, ouvir e falar; para despertar a motivação e o interesse dos alunos pela aprendizagem de outro idioma; bem como tornar as aulas e as atividades mais dinâmicas, atrativas, interessantes e desafiadoras.

Abstract:
This article is a synthesis of the Master's thesis with the same title. The general objective was to understand how educational games help English language teachers in the 2nd year of high school at Padre Luís Ruas state school
during the development of the four basic skills and competences of the English language by the students. The perspective of the investigation carried out was of a mixed nature (quantitative and qualitative) through the application of pre and post survey questionnaires and two games. The results of the research demonstrated that the games contributed to the learning of the English Language, mainly of the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking; to awaken students' motivation and interest in learning another language; as well as making classes and activities more dynamic, attractive, interesting and challenging.
