Considerando o avanço tecnológico

e a popularidade dos dispositivos móveis que

atrai significativamente o interesse dos jovens,

esta pesquisa tem como finalidade apresentar

as contribuições do uso de dispositivos

móveis na sala de aula por intermédio de uma

abordagem Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).

Os resultados da pesquisa foram gerados a

partir das observações feitas sobre o uso dos

dispositivos móveis pelos alunos e das atividades

desenvolvidas durante as aulas das disciplinas

de português, redação, inglês e matemática

com alunos do 7° ano do ensino fundamental

de uma escola estadual do Tocantins. Os

resultados permitiram uma visualização positiva

apontando melhorias significativas no processo

de ensino e aprendizado, pois ao utilizar seus

próprios dispositivos os alunos produziram

suas atividades de maneira mais dinâmica e

condizente com a sua realidade nativa digital,

além de contribuir para a construção coletiva e

individual do conhecimento.

Abstract:
Considering the technological

advancement and popularity of mobile devices

that significantly attracts the interest of young

people, this research aims to present the

contributions of the use of mobile devices in the

classroom through a Bring Your Own Device

(BYOD) approach that consists of the using

their own device for learning. The results of the

research were generated from the observations

made about the students’ use of the mobile

devices and the activities developed during

the classes of Portuguese, writing, English and

mathematics with 7th grade students from a

state school Tocantins. The results allowed a

positive visualization pointing out significant

improvements in the process of teaching

and learning, because when using their own

devices students produced their activities in a

more satisfactory way and in keeping with their

native digital reality, besides contributing to the

collective and individual construction of the

knowledge.
