O USO DA LITERATURA NO PROCESSO DE ENSINO E APRENDIZAGEM
O presente trabalho é resultado
de uma proposta de intervenção no âmbito do
subprojeto "Formação docente e Geografia
escolar: das práticas e saberes espaciais à
construção do conhecimento geográfico", do
Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação
à Docência - PIBID/UNEB/Campus XI, o qual
teve a finalidade de trabalhar com a linguagem
literária no ensino de Geografia, com o intuito
de (re) significar a história e memória cultural do
patrimônio (material e imaterial) da cidade de
Serrinha – BA, realizado no Centro Educacional
30 de Junho. Como tentativa de aproximar o
cotidiano dos estudantes do ensino fundamental
II do 7º Ano B, foi proposto um estudo sobre
o contexto histórico da cidade, através de
entrevistas com moradores mais antigos e aulas
de campo, seguido de estudo bibliográfico.
Iniciamos o processo de intervenção, com uma
exposição da história da literatura, enfatizando
como se deu a origem do cordel, enquanto
manifestação artística tradicional da cultura
popular brasileira. Em seguida, propomos uma
atividade de pesquisa e socializamos algumas
fotografias da cidade de Serrinha, a partir da
origem de seu povoamento até os dias atuais,
a fim de aproximar o contexto histórico às
vivências dos respectivos estudantes. A partir
dos resultados coletados pelos estudantes,
observamos as mudanças ocorridas na
paisagem da cidade, ao longo do tempo. Por
fim, apresentamos alguns cordéis escritos
por cidadãos serrinhenses e sugerimos aos
estudantes que criassem alguns cordéis que
retratassem a história e memória da cidade, e
formatassem em forma de livreto. O resultado foi
apresentado para toda a comunidade escolar

Abstract:
The present work is the result
of a proposal for intervention in the subproject
“Formação docente e Geografia escolar: das
práticas e saberes espaciais à construção do
conhecimento geográfico”, from the Programa
Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência -
PIBID / UNEB / Campus XI, which had the purpose of working with the literary language
in the teaching of Geography, in order to (re) signify the history and cultural memory of
the heritage (material and immaterial) of the city of Serrinha - BA, held at the Centro
Educacional 30 de Junho. In an attempt to bring the daily life of elementary school
students II of 7th Year B, a study on the historical context of the city was proposed,
through interviews with older residents and field classes, followed by a bibliographic
study. We began the process of intervention, with an exposition of the history of literature,
emphasizing the origin of the cord, as a traditional artistic manifestation of Brazilian
popular culture. Next, we propose a research activity and socialize some photographs
of the city of Serrinha, from the origin of their settlement to the present day, in order to
bring the historical context closer to the experiences of the respective students. From
the results collected by the students, we observe the changes that have occurred in
the landscape of the city, over time. Finally, we present some of the cords written by
serrinhenses citizens, and we suggested to the students that they create some cords
that would portray the history and memory of the city, and format them in booklet form.
The result was presented to the entire school community.
