O TRATO DA QUESTÃO ÉTNICORRACIAL NO CONTEXTO DA ASSISTÊNCIA ESTUDANTIL: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE SERGIPE
Este trabalho traz resultados de uma
pesquisa documental com vistas a mapear as
políticas institucionais de assistência estudantil
desenvolvidas pelo Instituto Federal de Sergipe
(IFS) no âmbito da questão étnicorracial e
combate ao racismo junto aos discentes
advindos à instituição através das cotas
sóciorraciais. Trata-se de um trabalho vinculado
a uma pesquisa de mestrado do Programa de
Mestrado Profissional em Educação Profissional
e Tecnológica (PROFEPT) intitulada: “acesso,
permanência e êxito dos estudantes negros do
instituto federal de Sergipe: o caso do campus
Aracaju”. Apresenta um panorama geral da
temática na introdução, aponta a metodologia
da pesquisa, traz seus principais resultados
e discussões e, por fim, as conclusões.
Destaca-se a relevância das discussões aqui
colocadas na perspectiva de contribuir para a
reflexão das bases teóricas e metodológicas e
a reinterpretação sobre a questão étnico-racial
na sua relação com as ações afirmativas e
assistência estudantil, bem como, por apresentar
um grande potencial de produzir contribuições
originais para a comunidade científica.

Abstract:
This paper presents the results
of a documentary research aimed at mapping
the institutional policies of student assistance
developed by the Federal Institute of Sergipe
(IFS) within the scope of the ethno - racial question
and the fight against racism among the students
that come to the institution through social and
economic quotas. It is a work linked to a master’s
research of the Professional Master’s Program
in Vocational and Technological Education
(PROFEPT) entitled: “access, permanence
and success of black students from the federal
institute of Sergipe: the Aracaju campus
case”. It presents an overview of the theme in
the introduction, points out the methodology
of the research, brings its main results and
discussions and, finally, the conclusions. It is
important to emphasize the relevance of the
discussions here to contribute to the reflection
of the theoretical and methodological bases
and the reinterpretation on the ethnic-racial
question in its relation with the affirmative
actions and student assistance, as well as,
because it presents a great potential of original
contributions to the scientific community.
