O TRANSPORTE URBANO DE CARGA E O CENTRO COMERCIAL DE BELÉM
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo
analisar o Centro Comercial de Belém segundo
a infraestrutura existente para circulação de
cargas, propondo melhorias com base no
conceito da Logística Urbana. A metodologia
utilizada envolve uma pesquisa descritiva e
documental. A coleta de dados em uma visita
in loco, observação direta e levantamento de
dados com uma lista de verificação visando
analisar o impacto da distribuição de carga para
o tráfego urbano, infraestrutura e sinalizações
horizontais e verticais. Os resultados obtidos
evidenciaram a ausência de planejamento
e projetos voltados ao transporte de carga
na cidade de Belém. A carga é unitizada em
caixas de papelão, transportadas em carros
de movimentação manual, há insuficiência de
vagas para a atividade de carga e descarga,
problemas relacionados ao congestionamento
no tráfego urbano, dificuldade de acesso às
ruas/vielas devido à pequena largura da via e
obstrução da mesma pelo mercado informal.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the
Belem Shopping Center according to the existing
infrastructure for cargo movement, proposing
improvements based on the concept of Urban
Logistics. The methodology used involves a
descriptive and documentary research. Data
collection on an on-site visit, direct observation
and data collection with a checklist to analyze
the impact of load distribution on urban traffic,
infrastructure and horizontal and vertical
signs. The results of the documentary analysis
evidenced the absence of planning and projects
for the transportation of cargo in the city of
Belem. The cargo is unitized in cardboard boxes,
transported in cars of manual handling; there
is insufficient space for loading and unloading,
problems related to congestion in urban traffic,
difficulty in accessing the streets / alleys due to
the small width of the road and obstruction of it
by informal market stalls
