O TRABALHO ESCRAVO NO CENÁRIO BRASILEIRO ATÉ O PERÍODO DA REPÚBLICA
Esse estudo parte de uma inquietude sobre a prevalência da mão de obra escrava que se iniciou a milênios e, no caso brasileiro, mesmo com a assinatura da Lei Áurea e com movimentos abolicionistas atuantes, essa prática prevalece até o período da pós-modernidade. Assim, a pesquisa hipotético-dedutiva e, baseada em análise histórica e reflexões sociológicas e jurídicas busca investigar diversos aspectos relevantes da escravidão em alguns períodos que perpassam a história da escravidão, bem como suas respectivas modificações até o início da República brasileira, em 1890.

Abstract:
This study is based on a concern about the prevalence of slave labor that began millennia ago and, in the Brazilian case, even with the signing of the Golden Law and with active abolitionist movements, this practice prevails until the post-modern period. Thus, hypothetical-deductive research and, based on historical analysis and sociological and legal reflections, seeks to investigate several relevant aspects of slavery in some periods that permeate the history of slavery, as well as their respective modifications until the beginning of the Brazilian Republic, in 1890.
