O TRABALHO DE DIRETOR DE ESCOLA NA REDE MUNICIPAL DE ENSINO DE RIO BRANCO-ACRE: ENTRE AS POLÍTICAS DE RESULTADOS E A GESTÃO DEMOCRÁTICA
Este artigo analisa o trabalho dos diretores escolares da Educação Básica
frente às propostas de políticas educacionais implementadas nos últimos anos na
rede municipal de educação do município de Rio Branco/Acre. A metodologia
utilizada envolveu as seguintes etapas: a)revisão de literatura; b)pesquisa
documental; e, c) entrevistas semiestruturadas com aplicação de questionários. Os
aspectos conclusivos do estudo ressaltam a importância dada à política de
resultados em detrimento de ações democráticas, tese que pode ser comprovada
com a identificação de uma série de propostas assentadas nos princípios do
gerencialismo que visam melhorar a performance do sistema aumentando seus
índices e resultados.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the work of school principals from the basic
education in relation to the educational policies implemented in recent years in the
municipal education network of the municipality of Rio Branco / Acre. The
methodology used involved the following steps: a) literature review; b) documentary
research; and, c) semi-structured interviews with questionnaires. The conclusive
aspects of the study emphasize the importance given to the results policy to the
detriment of democratic actions, a thesis that can be proven with the identification
of a series of proposals based on the principles of managerialism that aim to improve
the performance of the system increasing its indexes and results.
