O SURGIMENTO DOS FIAGROS IMPULSIONADOS PELO USO DA TECNOLOGIA NO AGRONEGÓCIO

Os Fundos de Investimento das Cadeias Agropecuárias (FIAGROS) surgiram como um instrumento inovador para a captação de recursos destinados ao agronegócio brasileiro, viabilizando investimentos tanto em imóveis rurais quanto em operações agroindustriais. Paralelamente, a digitalização do setor tem impulsionado a adoção de diversas tecnologias, dentre elas destacam-se: a Inteligência Artificial (IA), Internet das Coisas (IoT) e Agricultura 4.0. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre o avanço tecnológico e a expansão dos FIAGROS, destacando os impactos da digitalização na captação de recursos, na transparência das operações financeiras e na sustentabilidade do agronegócio. Por meio de uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico e análise qualitativa dos dados, são investigadas as principais ferramentas tecnológicas aplicadas à gestão desses fundos, bem como os desafios e oportunidades envolvidos na modernização do setor agropecuário. Os resultados demonstram que a incorporação de soluções digitais aprimora a rastreabilidade, a previsibilidade dos investimentos e a eficiência produtiva no campo, tornando os FIAGROS um mecanismo atrativo para investidores nacionais e internacionais. No entanto, desafios estruturais ainda limitam a plena adoção dessas inovações, especialmente em propriedades de médio e pequeno porte, onde a conectividade no meio rural e a capacitação profissional ainda representam entraves significativos. Conclui-se que o avanço contínuo das tecnologias aplicadas ao agronegócio, aliado a uma regulamentação sólida e a investimentos em infraestrutura digital, será determinante para consolidar os FIAGROS como um dos principais instrumentos financeiros do setor, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento sustentável e competitivo do agronegócio brasileiro.

  • Abstract: Agribusiness Investment Funds (FIAGROs) have emerged as an innovative instrument for fundraising for Brazilian agribusiness, enabling investments in both rural real estate and agro-industrial operations. Simultaneously, the digitalization of the sector has driven the adoption of various technologies, among which Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Agriculture 4.0 stand out. This study aims to analyze the relationship between technological advancement and the expansion of FIAGROs, highlighting the impacts of digitalization on fundraising, the transparency of financial operations, and the sustainability of agribusiness. Through bibliographic research and qualitative data analysis, the main technological tools applied to the management of these funds are investigated, as well as the challenges and opportunities involved in the modernization of the agricultural sector. The results demonstrate that the incorporation of digital solutions enhances traceability, investment predictability, and productive efficiency in the field, making FIAGROs an attractive mechanism for domestic and international investors. However, structural challenges still limit the full adoption of these innovations, especially on medium and small-sized farms, where rural connectivity and professional training still represent significant obstacles. It is concluded that the continuous advancement of technologies applied to agribusiness, combined with a solid regulatory framework and investments in digital infrastructure, will be decisive in consolidating FIAGROs as one of the main financial instruments of the sector, contributing to the sustainable and competitive development of Brazilian agribusiness.
