“O QUE IMPORTA É MINHA IMPORTÂNCIA SOBRE TUDO ISSO”: O FENÔMENO DA SUBJETIVIDADE MASCULINA FRENTE AO CÂNCER DE PRÓSTATA
O crescimento descontrolado e irregular das células, resultado de alterações no material genético, provoca acúmulo desordenado, originando tumores malignos. Assim, propicia a emergência de conflitos que ameaçam à integridade egóica e a identidade masculina. O estudo buscou compreender as reações do homem ao ser diagnosticado com câncer de próstata, bem como entender sua subjetividade e masculinidade. O estudo foi de caráter qualitativo, de cunho fenomenológico. As maiores reações são os sentimentos que surgem no momento do diagnóstico. Sentir angústia, medo, sofrimento e preocupação diante do diagnóstico de câncer de próstata, comum pelo fato de estar associado o câncer com o fim da vida, O conformismo é um sentimento caracterizado pela aceitação e adaptação dos sujeitos que estão no decorrer do seu tratamento, quando aceitam a realidade se ajustando a situação vivenciada. O indivíduo, a partir das relações que vivencia no mundo, atribui novas significações internas e externas, como ser significante, lhe permite ser singular, humanizando a sua objetividade no mundo. A masculinidade apresenta diferenças em relação à cultura e sofre transformações, ao longo do tempo, dentro da mesma cultura havendo conflito entre potência e impotência, entre a exigência de desempenho e o medo de falhar e não corresponder aos padrões, impostos de masculinidade desde a antiguidade. O estudo tornou possível o conhecimento e a compreensão sobre as reações e emoções do homem a partir do diagnóstico de câncer vinculado a sua masculinidade e subjetividade, considerando a percepção individual dos pacientes e a maneira de interpretar seus sentimentos e reações, de maneira subjetiva.

Abstract:
The uncontrolled and irregular growth of cells, resulting from changes in the genetic material, causes a disorderly accumulation, resulting in malignant tumors. Thus, it provides for the emergence of conflicts that threaten egoic integrity and male identity. The study sought to understand the reactions of men when diagnosed with prostate cancer, as well as to understand their subjectivity and masculinity. The study was qualitative, of a phenomenological nature. The greatest reactions are the feelings that arise at the time of diagnosis, Feeling distress, fear, suffering and worry before one of the diagnosis of prostate cancer is common because it is associated with cancer with the end of life, conformism is a feeling characterized by the acceptance and adaptation of the subjects that are in the course of their treatment, when they accept the reality adjusting the situation experienced. The individual, from the relations that he experiences in the world, attributes new internal and external significations, as being significant, allows him to be singular, humanizing his objectivity in the world. Masculinity presents differences in relation to culture and undergoes transformations, over time, within the same culture, there is a conflict between potency and impotence, between the demand for performance and the fear of failing and not meeting the standards imposed on masculinity since antiquity. The study made possible the knowledge and understanding about the reactions and emotions of the man from the diagnosis of cancer linked to his masculinity and subjectivity, considering the individual perception of the patients and the way of interpreting their feelings and reactions, in a way subjective.
