“O QUE É AUDIAÇÃO?”: UMA ANÁLISE À LUZ DA PSICOLOGIA HISTÓRICO-CULTURAL DA INDEFINIÇÃO DO CONCEITO DE AUDIAÇÃO COMO PROPOSIÇÃO DE NOVOS PARADIGMAS METODOLÓGICOS
O objeto deste trabalho é a imprecisão
na definição do conceito de audiação, sendo que
essa imprecisão é entendida como a expressão
de um problema metodológico. Assim, nosso
objetivo é analisar, à luz da psicologia históricocultural e da crítica vigotskiana aos fundamentos
gerais da psicologia, a dificuldade de se definir
o termo “audiação”, ou melhor, o problema
metodológico que resulta nesta dificuldade.
Para tanto, partimos de uma contextualização
sobre a audiação, bem como de diferentes
definições deste conceito. Tais definições são
analisadas sob dois prismas: a) com base em
princípios metodológicos gerais da psicologia
histórico-cultural; b) por meio da concepção
de funções psíquicas, presente nessa corrente
teórica. Essa análise se mostra antes propositiva
do que crítica, na medida em que, ao mesmo
tempo, indica novos paradigmas para se
pensar os fenômenos psicológicos envolvidos
na atividade musical e aponta para a superação
do problema da indefinição.

Abstract:
The object of this work is the
imprecision in the definition of the concept of
audiation, and this imprecision is understood
as the expression of a methodological problem.
Thus, our goal is to analyze, in the light of
Historical-Cultural Psychology and Vigotsky’s
criticism of the general fundamentals of
psychology, the difficulty of defining the term
“audiation”, or rather, the methodological
problem that results in this difficulty. To do so, we
start from a contextualization about audiation, as
well as from different definitions of this concept.
Such definitions are analyzed under two prisms:
a) based on general methodological principles
of Historical-Cultural Psychology; b) through the
conception of psychic functions, present in this
theoretical current. This analysis shows itself
rather propositive than criticism, since at the
same time it indicates new paradigms to think
about the psychological phenomena involved
in musical activity and points to overcoming the
problem of indefinition.
