O PROCESSO HISTÓRICO DA INCLUSÃO ESCOLAR DE CRIANÇAS COM DEFICIÊNCIA INTELECTUAL E OS DESAFIOS ATUAIS
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar os marcos históricos do processo de inclusão escolar de crianças com deficiência intelectual. Tem-se como objetivos específicos investigar e apresentar o percurso desse processo, analisando o panorama da inclusão escolar a partir das variáveis que lhe são concernentes. Assim, como resultado de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com base em livros e artigos sobre o objeto de pesquisa, constata-se que o desejo de que se tenha “igualdade” não é suficiente para que haja esse sentimento humano entre as pessoas; ademais, este tende a ser substituído pela padronização, por meio de tentativas de tornar o indivíduo com deficiência uma pessoa normal. Contudo, conclui-se que isso jamais vai ocorrer, e sim que deve haver uma “igualdade de oportunidades” entre os alunos, igualdade baseada não no grau humano, mas nas oportunidades em relação à competitividade.

Abstract:
This research is wide-ranging aimed to analyze the historical milestones of the process of school inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities. The specific objectives are to present the panorama of the course of school inclusion and analyze the variables enduring this process. Therefore, a bibliographic research based on books and articles that discuss the process of school inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities was conducted. As a result, it was found that the desire for "equality" is not enough to make inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities effective, as the concept tends to be standardized through attempts to make the individual with a disability into a normal person. However, the desire for "equal opportunities" among students is more attainable for the reason that the accessibility of students with disabilities is put in the spotlight and, in this way, the equality referred to here is not in the human being, but in the opportunities related to competitiveness.
