O PROCESSO HISTÓRICO DA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
Durante muitos séculos, a educação
da criança brasileira permaneceu sob a
responsabilidade da família, principalmente da
mãe, haja vista, que a instituição ‘creche’ surgiu
somente no final do século XIX, decorrente dos
processos de industrialização e de urbanização.
Nessa perspectiva, o presente texto tem a
finalidade de destacar e analisar os principais
fatos históricos relativos ao surgimento e a
implantação da Educação Infantil no Brasil à
luz dos pressupostos básicos apresentados por
KUHLMANN JR. (2000), NASCIMENTO (2015)
e OLIVEIRA (1992; 2005). No estado de Goiás
e na cidade de Anápolis-GO, os dados teóricos
são destacados por PERES (2012), BARBOSA
(2008), FONSECA (2014), SILVEIRA (2013),
TOSCHI e ANDERI (2007), e FERREIRA (2011).

Abstract:
For many centuries, the education
of the Brazilian child remained under the
responsibility of the family, especially of the
mother, given that the ‘daycare institution’ only
emerged at the end of the 19th century, due to the
processes of industrialization and urbanization.
In this perspective, the present text has the
purpose of highlighting and analyzing the main
historical facts related to the emergence and
implantation of Early Childhood Education in
Brazil in light of the basic assumptions presented
by KUHLMANN JR. (2000), NASCIMENTO
(2015) and OLIVEIRA (1992, 2005). In the
state of Goiás and in the city of Anápolis -GO,
the theoretical data are highlighted by PERES
(2012), BARBOSA (2008), FONSECA (2014),
SILVEIRA (2013), TOSCHI and ANDERI (2007),
and FERREIRA .
