O Processo de Inclusão Social de Pessoas com Deficiência Visual: o papel da inclusão digital.
Dentre os vários aspectos ligados
à inclusão social, elegeu-se como objeto desta
investigação o papel ocupado pela inclusão
digital de pessoas com deficiência visual,
devido à sua relevância social e necessidade
de abordar o tema, buscando-se compreender
os possíveis impactos na vida dos sujeitos
com essa deficiência, a partir das perspectivas
teóricas que se debruçaram e que permitem
compreender essa realidade. O percurso
metodológico passou pelo levantamento
bibliográfico, seguido de uma revisão da
literatura pertinente ao tema pesquisado. A
análise pauta-se nos conceitos desenvolvidos
por Sawaia (1999), Martin-Baró (2003) e pela
legislação brasileira. O presente estudo teve
como objetivo analisar metodologicamente o
papel da inclusão digital no processo de inclusão
social de pessoas com deficiência visual, a
partir de uma visão sociocultural comprometida
com a promoção da cidadania. As tecnologias
assistivas colaboram para a inclusão digital de
pessoas com deficiência visual, o que possibilita
a sua inclusão social. Como resultado, constatase
que a inclusão digital é um forte constituinte
e garantidor da inclusão ou exclusão social,
embora haja a necessidade de produzir novas
pesquisas qualitativas e quantitativas, nas
quais se busque compreender a efetividade
do processo de inclusão digital no processo de
inclusão social das pessoas com deficiência
visual, na perspectiva desses sujeitos e a sua
representatividade nos dados estatísticos.

Abstract:
Among the various aspects of social inclusion, was elected as the object of
this research the role occupied by the digital inclusion of people with visual impairment
due to their social relevance and the need to address the issue, seeking to understand
the possible impacts on the lives of individuals with this deficiency, from the theoretical
perspectives that have studied and allow us to understand this reality. This was
literature. The analysis staff on the concepts developed by Sawaia (1999), Martin-Baro
(2003) and by Brazilian law. This study aimed to analyze methodologically the role of
digital inclusion in the process of social inclusion of people with visual impairment, from
a sociocultural vision committed to the promotion of citizenship. Assistive Technologies
collaborate to the digital inclusion of people with visual impairments, enabling social
inclusion of these people. As a result, it appears that digital inclusion is a strong
constituent and guarantor of inclusion or social exclusion, although there is the need
to produce new qualitative and quantitative research, in which seeks to understand the
effectiveness of the process of digital inclusion in the inclusion process social of people
with visual disabilities, in view of these subjects and their representation in statistical
data.
