O PROBLEMA DO PATRIARCADO E A MANUTENÇÃO DA CULTURA DO ESTUPRO
Apesar das alarmantes estatísticas
brasileiras acerca das mais variadas formas de
violência contra a mulher, o lugar-comum de
culpabilizar as vítimas de violência sexual, bem
como a persistente objetificação da imagem
feminina nos diferentes extratos sociais,
continua a gerar consequências funestas para
a sociedade como um todo. Abordando o
problema do patriarcado, busca-se, evidenciar
os prejuízos do institucionalizado domínio
masculino para a manutenção de uma cultura
de objetificação do corpo feminino, ainda
postulado como mero depósito de desejos e
fantasias. Através da revisão das bibliografias
pertinentes, a exemplo dos textos de Gerda
Lerner, Susan Faludi e Simone de Beauvoir -
Sobretudo “O Segundo Sexo”-, em pesquisa
calcada no método indutivo, a abordagem
permitirá que se observem os desdobramentos
da chamada “cultura de estupro” não apenas em
relação à mulher, mas também acerca do que se
deve alterar quanto ao homem e ao patriarcado
vigente para a efetivação dos Direitos Humanos
em sua integralidade.

Abstract:
Despite the alarming brazilian
statistics on the most varied forms of violence
against women, the commonplace of blaming
the victims of sexual violence, as well as the
persistent objectification of the female image
in the different social extracts, continues to
generate disastrous consequences for society
as a whole. Approaching the problem of
patriarchy, we seek to evidence the damages
of the institutionalized male domain to the
maintenance of a culture of objectification of the
female body, still postulated as a mere deposit
of desires and fantasies. Through the revision
of relevant bibliographies, such as the texts by
Gerda Lerner, Susan Faludi and Simone de
Beauvoir - especially “The Second Sex”, in a
research based on the inductive method, the
approach will allow us to observe the unfolding
of the so-called “culture of rape “not only in relation to women, but also about what must
be changed in relation to man and the current patriarchy for the realization of Human
Rights in their entirety.
