Abstract: This article aims to provide study information on the implicit constitutional principle in the Magna Carta known as the minimum subsistence level, relating this principle to the relativization of the unseizability of wages for the payment of non-alimony debts. It is known that the Code of Civil Procedure only allowed wage seizure in cases of alimony debts. However, this rule was later mitigated by the Superior Court of Justice when it relativized Article 833, item X, of the CPC, consolidating the understanding that it is possible to partially seize the debtor's salary to settle non-alimony debts. This raises questions about the limits of wage seizure. During the development of this work, in addition to providing necessary information based on laws and doctrines, there is also an analysis of jurisprudential research. Regarding the methodology used in the research for this work, both the reading of some provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and bibliographic research on the subject matter were chosen
