O POLICIAMENTO PREDITIVO NO COMBATE AO TRÁFICO DE DROGAS: A POSSÍVEL PERPETUAÇÃO DA DISCRIMINAÇÃO SOCIAL
O objetivo geral deste artigo é pesquisar como os sistemas de predição podem ajudar na prevenção delitiva do tráfico de drogas, ou seja, analisar a capacidade da inteligência artificial no combate do crime mais cometido no país, como uma medida de segurança pública e uma hipótese de diminuição dos pontos de tráfico. É notável que as políticas públicas não estão mostrando tanta efetividade no combate ao tráfico, assim, tratando-se da importância do policiamento preditivo, que visa ajudar os agentes policiais a se anteciparem na atuação criminosa, os sistemas de predição aparentam ser um método que pode auxiliar nessa luta. Entretanto, será analisado se o método preditivo impacta na discriminação social em decorrência de seu mal uso, que geraria o excesso de ações policiais em um mesmo bairro ou região. O artigo será realizado através da metodologia bibliográfica, com o levantamento de informações e conhecimentos a partir de diferentes materiais bibliográficos, colocando em diálogo diferentes autores e dados, além disso, abordará o método de pesquisa quantitativo, baseado em números e dados, que serão implementados para comprovar os pontos desenvolvidos. Esta pesquisa será conduzida a partir do questionamento: O policiamento preditivo pode resultar na perpetuação da discriminação social se utilizado como estratégia de combate ao tráfico de drogas?

Abstract:
The general objective of this article is to research how prediction systems can help in the prevention of drug trafficking, that is, to analyze the capacity of artificial intelligence to combat the most committed crime in the country, as a public safety measure, as a hypothesis to decrease the number of trafficking spots. It is notable that public politics are not showing as much effectiveness in combating trafficking, therefore, regarding the importance of predictive policing, which aims to help police officers anticipate criminal activity, the prediction systems appear to be a method that can help in this fight. However, it will be verified whether the predictive method impacts on social discrimination as a result of misuse, which would generate an excess of police actions in the same neighborhood or region. The article will be conducted through the bibliographical methodology, with the survey of information and insights from different bibliographic materials, putting into dialogue different authors and data, in addition, it will approach the quantitative research method, based on numbers and data, which will be implemented to prove the points developed. This research will be conducted from the question: Can predictive policing result in the perpetuation of social discrimination if used as a strategy to combat drug trafficking?
