Abstract: This study aims to investigate the implications of the Specialized Educational Plan in the Multifunctional Resource Classrooms of Public Schools in São Luís/MA. This is a qualitative and exploratory study, which initially surveyed bibliographical productions on the subject, in order to find out how the planning of pedagogical actions developed in multifunctional resource classrooms has been discussed in recent years. The bibliographic research included a search for articles, books, theses and dissertations in order to understand the concept of planning and its importance for teacher practice. Field research was also carried out with teachers who teach in multifunctional resource classrooms in the municipality of São Luís/MA to understand how the specialized educational plan is thought out, planned and applied in the educational care provided in multifunctional resource classrooms. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaires; and analyzed in the light of the work of authors such as Valadão (2010); Mendes, Vilaronga and Zerbato (2014); among others. As a result of the analysis of the questionnaires, it was possible to see how fundamental the specialized educational plan is for carrying out any and all activities in the resource classrooms, contributing to the learning of students who are the target of special education.
