Abstract: This work aimed to present the experience of carrying out the Popular Astronomy Course - CPA offered by Planetário Rubens de Azevedo, in addition to discussing the involvement of public school students in the proposed actions, presenting the evaluation questionnaire and the results of the activity through your proposition. The methodology consisted of an experience report. When asked about the methodology used, 60% found it very interesting, 33.3% found it interesting and 6.7% found it somewhat interesting. When asked about the assimilation and understanding of the class content, for 60% of those interviewed, the content was easy to assimilate, 33.3% very easy and 6.7% moderate. This corroborates the idea that the Planetarium is an important space for mediating learning and access to scientific knowledge.
