• Abstract: March 8th is celebrated annually as International Women’s Day, with the opportunity to recognize the entire history of the group’s struggles in the past and highlight its achievements over the years, on a global scale. Women who are involved in university studies or already in the job market often complain of a lack of time for self-care. Therefore, it was intuited to analyze the female profile of women who attend the UFRJ Macaé campus and thereby raise awareness and direct them to the practice of effective self-care. This study is an experience report through activity in the living space of the Centro Multidisciplinary UFRJ - Macaé on March 8, 2023, through a campaign carried out in celebration of International Women’s Day. With the interview, data were collected from 22 women, where they were asked about identification, social and economic factors, family and personal history, and gynecological history. It is concluded that every day it becomes more necessary to disseminate knowledge about one´s own body and its peculiarities, always emphasizing women ́s preventive health to avoid possible injuries.
