O PERFIL DOS ALUNOS INGRESSANTES NO CURSO DE LICENCIATURA EM EDUCAÇÃO DO CAMPO HABILITAÇÃO EM CIÊNCIAS HUMANAS NA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SANTA MARIA/UAB
O curso de Licenciatura em Educação
do Campo da Universidade Federal de Santa
Maria tem o intuito de formar licenciados
habilitados em Ciências Humanas para quatro
áreas de formação: Filosofia, Geografia,
História e Sociologia. O egresso estará
habilitado a atuar no Ensino Fundamental séries
finais de 6º ao 9º ano, nas áreas de História
e Geografia, e no ensino Médio nas áreas de
História, Geografia, Sociologia e Filosofia. O
curso é ofertado na modalidade a distância
em parceria com a Universidade Aberta do
Brasil em cinco polos distribuídos no estado
do Rio Grande do Sul, nas cidades de: Agudo,
Cerro Largo, Itaqui, São Sepé e Seberi, conta
atualmente com 143 alunos. O objetivo deste
estudo é demonstrar o perfil dos ingressantes
do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do
Campo. A partir das questões procura-se
descobrir a escolaridade, idade, polo em que
está matriculado, grau de instrução, município
de origem, área de atuação e formação, relação
com o campo e os movimentos sociais, assim
como os motivos que os levaram a optar pelo
curso.

Abstract:
The Federal University of Santa
Maria Field Education Licentiate course is
designed to train graduates in humanities for
four areas of formation: Philosophy, Geography,
History and Sociology. The graduate will be
able to work in the final years of 6th to 9th
grade, in the areas of History and Geography,
and in Middle School in the areas of History,
Geography, Sociology and Philosophy. The
course is offered in distance mode in partnership
with the Open University of Brazil in five poles
distributed in the state of Rio Grande do Sul,
in the cities of: Agudo, Cerro Largo, Itaqui, São
Sepé and Seberi, currently has 143 students.
The objective of this study is to demonstrate the
profile of the students enrolled in the Degree
in Field Education. From the questions, it was
sought to discover the schooling, age, polo where
it is enrolled, degree of education, municipality
of origin, area of action and formation, relation
with the field and social movements, as well as the reasons that led them to opt for the
course.
