O PERFIL DO AUTOR DA VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA AS MULHERES NA REGIÃO METROPOLITANA DE BELÉM NARRADA PELA MÍDIA IMPRESSA PARAENSE: UM ESTUDO QUANTITATIVO.
Entre as formas mais
comuns de violência estão a praticadas contra
a mulher pelo seu parceiro íntimo. Objetivo:
Analisar o perfil do autor da violência contra
as mulheres na região metropolitana de
Belém narrada pela mídia impressa paraense.
Metodologia: Estudo do tipo descritivo com
abordagem quantitativa. Foram consultados
365 exemplares do jornal O Liberal, publicadas
no ano de 2016, sobre a violência contra a
mulher ocorrida no mesmo ano. A análise dos
dados foi feita por meio da estatística descritiva
com apresentação de gráficos e tabelas.
Resultados: Os resultados apresentam a
caracterização do autor de violência, os tipos
de violência cometida, os fatores associados
à violência e propostas de estratégias para
a diminuição da violência contra a mulher. A
pesquisa aponta predomínio de homens na
faixa etária de 19 a 27 anos, trabalhadores dos
setores de alimentos, segurança, construção
civil. A violência física prevaleceu em 82,14%
dos casos. Os principais agressores foram
os companheiros, o ciúme e envolvimento
com tráfico 21.36% foi fator associado para
agressão. Conclusão: É imprescindível
elaborar e implantar ações de enfrentamento
articuladas intersetorial e interdisciplinarmente.
Assim, além da denúncia e do tratamento dos
agravos, é possível atuar na modificação da
conduta violenta dos agressores e na promoção
da igualdade de gênero, especialmente, no que se refere à emancipação econômica,
emocional e social.

Abstract:
Among the most common forms of violence are practiced
against women by their intimate partner. Objective: To analyze the profile of the
author of violence against women in the metropolitan region of Belem, narrated by the
printed media in Pará. Methodology: A descriptive study with a quantitative approach.
365 copies of the O Liberal newspaper, published in the year 2016, were consulted
on violence against women in the same year. The analysis of the data was made
through descriptive statistics with presentation of graphs and tables. Results: The
results present the characterization of the author of violence, the types of violence
committed, the factors associated with violence, and proposed strategies for reducing
violence against women. The research indicates a predominance of men in the
age group of 19 to 27 years, workers in the food, safety and construction sectors.
Physical violence prevailed in 82.14% of the cases. The main aggressors were the
companions, jealousy and involvement with trafficking 21.36% was associated factor
for aggression. Conclusion: It is essential to devise and implement interdisciplinary
and interdisciplinary coordination actions. Thus, in addition to denouncing and treating
injuries, it is possible to act in the modification of the violent conduct of the aggressors
and in the promotion of gender equality, especially with regard to economic, emotional
and social emancipation.
