Abstract: The general objective of this paper was to present some reflections on Pedagogy Week, held at the INTA University Center (UNINTA) in Sobral, Ceará. The theme was "The Pedagogue in Other Social Contexts" and their work in various settings. The research was bibliographical in nature, consulting authors such as Libâneo and Gohn, as well as some references on Brazilian legislation, such as the National Guidelines for Pedagogy Programs, teacher training in the National Council of Education (BNC), and other sources that provide diverse information on the topic. It is known that, in addition to teaching, pedagogues can choose to work in other spaces that are important to the performance of their duties. Guests from various backgrounds participated, including pedagogues who served in the Public Defender's Office, pedagogues as education technicians at the Federal Institute, pedagogues as supervisors of the "S" System, and pedagogues in socio-educational settings. Each participant contributed meaningful insights into the role they played in these settings. The study begins with a reflection on the training of educators in pedagogy programs and their expectations for working in various fields. Throughout the research, it was possible to understand the relevance of the training of these professionals and their increasingly important role in academic and professional life. In this sense, the possibilities for insertion into the field of pedagogical work envision successive reflections on the importance of pedagogue training, leading them to enter the job market, which drives them to other fields of activity where educational action is involved, leading them to play an important role in other social contexts. The research demonstrated that pedagogues, throughout their professional careers, can act multifunctionally in pedagogical and social work in both formal and informal education.
