O PASSEIO PÚBLICO E SUAS VÁRIAS FACETAS IMPRESSAS NAS CAMADAS DO TEMPO
O Passeio Público da cidade do
Rio de Janeiro é considerado um marco na
história da arquitetura e da paisagem por ser
considerado o primeiro parque planejado do
Brasil. Tombado pelo SPHAN em 1938, sua
construção ocorreu entre os anos de 1779
e 1783, e seu desenho inicial foi concebido
pelo Mestre Valentim, autor também das
obras de arte nele presentes. Desde então a
região é palco de sucessivas intervenções até
a presente data, o que torna sua feição atual
uma sobreposição de camadas da memória
deste trecho da cidade – algumas legíveis, mas
muitas outras, não. Com o intuito de contribuir
com a documentação existente acerca da
memória urbana, este trabalho pretende
apontar resultados obtidos a partir da pesquisa
desenvolvida entre os anos de 2016 e 2018
acerca da reconstituição das transformações
da morfologia urbana do Passeio Publico e
do seu entorno através de diferentes tipos de
representações tridimensionais.

Abstract:
The Passeio Público of the city
of Rio de Janeiro is considered a landmark in
the history of architecture and landscape for
being considered the first planned park in Brazil.
Preserved by SPHAN in 1938, its construction
took place between the years of 1779 and
1783, and its initial design was conceived by
Mestre Valentim, author also of the works of art
in him present. Since then the region has been
the scene of successive interventions to date,
which makes its present feature an overlapping
layer of memory of this stretch of the city - some
readable, but many others do not. In order to
contribute with the existing documentation about the urban memory, this work aims to show results obtained from the research developed
between the years 2016 and 2018 about the reconstitution of the transformations of the
urban morphology of the Passeio Público and its surroundings through different types
of three-dimensional representations
