O Papel Iluminista do Supremo Tribunal Federal
O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar o papel iluminista do Supremo Tribunal Federal. Para a elaboração da pesquisa foram utilizados o método dedutivo, tipo de pesquisa exploratória, abordagem qualitativa e procedimento bibliográfico. Visa analisar os três papeis desempenhados pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal: contramajoritário, representativo e iluminista, averiguar o conceito e os fundamentos do Papel Iluminista desempenhado pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal, com enfoque em decisões recentes, bem como discorrer sobre a relação entre o papel iluminista desempenhado pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal e a democracia.

Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze the Enlightenment role of the Supreme Federal Court. For the elaboration of the research, the deductive method, type of exploratory research, qualitative approach and bibliographic procedure were used. It aims to analyze the three roles played by the Federal Supreme Court: contermajority, representative and enlightenment, investigate the concept and the fundamentals of the Enlightenment Role played by the Federal Supreme Court, focusing on recent decisions, as well as discussing the relationship between the role played by the Supreme Court and democracy.
