O PAPEL E AS CARACTERÍSTICAS DA AGRICULTURA URBANA EM PORTO FERREIRA-SP
A agricultura urbana (AU) está integrada ao ecossistema urbano, tem caráter multifuncional e propicia bons resultados ambientais, sociais e econômicos. Atualmente a AU está ganhando destaque no cenário mundial e brasileiro, sendo importante compreender as iniciativas e demandas existentes para que políticas públicas possam ser implementadas. O objetivo principal do texto é analisar o papel e o perfil da agricultura urbana no município de Porto Ferreira/SP e assim, a investigação será conduzida com base em levantamentos bibliográfico e documental.

Abstract:
Urban agriculture (AU) is integrated with the urban ecosystem, has a multifunctional character and provides good environmental, social and economic results. Currently, AU is gaining prominence in the world and Brazilian scenario, and it is important to understand the existing initiatives and demands so that public policies can be implemented. The main objective of the text is to analyze the role and profile of urban agriculture in the municipality of Porto Ferreira / SP and thus, the investigation will be conducted based on bibliographic and documentary surveys.
