O PAPEL DO ENFERMEIRO NA PREVENÇÃO E CONTROLE DO CÂNCER: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
Câncer é o nome dado a um conjunto de mais de 100 doenças que têm em comum o crescimento desordenado de células que invadem tecidos e órgãos. Estima-se, para o Brasil, entre os anos de 2018-2019, a ocorrência de 600 mil casos novos de câncer, para cada ano. A organização mundial da saúde (OMS) prioriza as ações de prevenção no cuidado com as condições crônicas, enfatizando que é possível prevenir a maioria destas, e que, assim, toda a interação de saúde deve incluir a prevenção. Objetivou-se identificar, por meio de uma revisão integrativa, o papel do enfermeiro na prevenção e controle do câncer. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, realizada no período de 2014 a 2019. A pesquisa nas bases de dados LILACS e BDENF ocorreu de abril a junho de 2019; onde foram encontrados 8.549 textos completos, dos quais, 2.296 estavam disponíveis e, após a utilização dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, obtivemos 08 artigos que abordavam a temática. Os estudos mostraram que o papel do enfermeiro acerca da prevenção e controle do câncer, abordavam a formação do enfermeiro, ações de enfermagem diante da prevenção do câncer, atividades educativas, prevenção e promoção da saúde, com enfoque na detecção precoce do câncer de mama e colo uterino. A prevenção do câncer é uma ação ampla e de extrema importância para a população, podendo ocorrer de diversas formas, a depender da estratégia escolhida pelo profissional de saúde que está diretamente ligado à realidade da população. O papel do enfermeiro deve estar voltado para intervenções comportamentais, cognitivas e sociais como: orientações sobre prevenção do câncer na unidade básica de saúde, educação em saúde nas salas de espera, nas consultas de enfermagem, nas escolas e demais ambientes; palestras e orientações individuais e sociais; grupos educativos; lembretes e busca ativa dos pacientes.

Abstract:
Cancer is the name given to a set of more than 100 diseases that have in common the disordered growth of cells that invade tissues and organs. It is estimated, for Brazil, between the years 2018-2019, the occurrence of 600 thousand new cases of cancer, for each year. The world health organization (WHO) prioritizes prevention actions in the care of chronic conditions, emphasizing that it is possible to prevent most of these, and that, therefore, all health interactions must include prevention. The objective was to identify, through an integrative review, the role of nurses in the prevention and control of cancer. This is an integrative review, carried out from 2014 to 2019. The research in the LILACS and BDENF databases took place from April to June 2019; where 8,549 full texts were found, of which 2,296 were available and, after using the inclusion and exclusion criteria, we obtained 08 articles that addressed the theme. Studies have shown that the nurse's role in cancer prevention and control addressed nursing education, nursing actions in the face of cancer prevention, educational activities, prevention and health promotion, with a focus on early detection of breast cancer and uterine lap. Cancer prevention is a broad and extremely important action for the population, which can occur in several ways, depending on the strategy chosen by the health professional who is directly linked to the reality of the population. The role of the nurse must be focused on behavioral, cognitive and social interventions such as: guidelines on cancer prevention in the basic health unit, health education in waiting rooms, in nursing consultations, in schools and other environments; lectures and individual and social orientations; educational groups; reminders and active patient search.
