Abstract: This article aims to talk about the role of social networks in international business, looking mainly at the Mozambican economy. It should be noted that social networks is not a new term, but rather a concept that has been used for over a century to designate the relationships established between elements of a given social system. To achieve the objectives of this research, the bibliographic method will be used, in which some works and articles that talk about the topic in question were used. The results obtained showed that social networks allow the interaction of individuals from one country to another and from one point to another, with regard to interpersonal as well as economic relationships, thus guaranteeing a good international business environment when these social networks are well used. In the Mozambican context, it was possible to conclude that with the poor adherence of the internet where only 18% of the population has access to the internet, it makes it challenging in terms of carrying out international trade.
