O PAPEL DAS AULAS DE HABILIDADES DE COMUNICAÇÃO NA FORMAÇÃO DOS ESTUDANTES DE MEDICINA: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
As Habilidades
de Comunicação (HC) fazem parte de um
Componente Curricular educativo específico,
estruturado longitudinalmente no curso de
Medicina do Centro Universitário de Patos
de Minas – UNIPAM. Visa desenvolver as
capacidades comunicativas e as interações
necessárias ao estudante, ao interno e às
capacidades adequadas para o exercício da
Medicina. Objetivo: Relatar a percepção de
uma acadêmica, diante das possibilidades
ofertadas nesse componente curricular, por
meio do uso de algumas ferramentas para
que os estudantes do curso desenvolvam
competências diante das várias situações,
culminando, assim, uma relação mais humana
entre médico-paciente. Relato de Experiência:
A compreensão dos temas trabalhados nas
HC nos dois primeiros anos do curso de
Medicina no UNIPAM serve como base para
aprimorar o conhecimento diante da realidade
profissional, uma vez que auxilia os alunos a
terem um olhar mais sensível e mais humano
na relação direta com o paciente, sendo esse,
sempre, o centro do atendimento e não mais a
doença. Resultados: Após cumprir as HC, os
estudantes se tornam mais capacitados para
lidar com diversas situações ao longo de sua
formação, já que desenvolvem habilidades
para uma comunicação mais efetiva. Afinal, os
acadêmicos aprendem diferentes formas de
transmitir determinadas informações ou treinam
a habilidade de escuta. Conclusão: Diante
disso, pode-se perceber que as HC têm um
papel fundamental na formação médica, pois
solidificam um bom desempenho profissional
e habilitam os estudantes a lidarem com
diferentes realidades vinculadas ao processo
de saúde e doença. Por fim, as HC contribuem
para a humanização do relacionamento entre
médico-paciente.

Abstract:
Communication Skills (HC) are part of a specific educational
curricular component, structured longitudinally in the course of Medicine of the
University Center of Patos de Minas - UNIPAM. It aims to develop the communicative
skills and interactions necessary for the student, intern and the appropriate capacities
for the practice of Medicine. Objective: To report the perception of an academic, given
the possibilities offered in this curricular component, through the use of some tools
so that the students of the course develop competencies in the various situations,
culminating, thus, a more human relationship between doctor-patient. Experience
Report: The understanding of the topics worked in the HC in the first two periods of
the medical course in UNIPAM serves as a base to improve the knowledge before
the professional reality, since it helps the students to have a more sensitive and more
humane look in the relation with the patient, which is always the center of care and not
the disease anymore. Results: After meeting the HC, students become better able to
deal with various situations throughout their training, as they develop skills for more
effective communication. After all, academics learn different ways to transmit certain
information or train listening skills. Conclusion: In light of this, it can be seen that CH
have a fundamental role in medical education, since they solidify a good professional
performance and enable students to deal with different realities linked to the health
and illness process. Finally, HCs contribute to the humanization of the doctor-patient
relationship
