O PAINEL SENSORIAL COMO UM INSTRUMENTO PEDAGÓGICO PARA O PÚBLICO-ALVO DA EDUCACAÇÃO ESPECIAL
A partir do convívio das pesquisadoras com alunos na sala de recursos de uma escola pública em Teresina-PI, surgiu a necessidade de buscar estratégias para auxiliar os mesmos em suas dificuldades de aprendizagem. Por isso, buscou-se informações a respeito do “painel sensorial” através desta pesquisa, de cunho bibliográfico. Este trabalho busca analisar o funcionamento de um painel sensorial e sua relação com o processo de aprendizagem dos alunos público-alvo das salas de recursos. Como objetivos específicos, intentou-se: compreender o painel sensorial em todos os seus aspectos; verificar como o painel sensorial pode auxiliar no desenvolvimento global dos estudantes; verificar, por meio de apanhado na literatura, como o painel sensorial tem sido utilizado nas escolas com os alunos público-alvo da educação especial. Fez-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica de 2 (duas) monografias que descrevem a construção de painéis e atividades sensoriais destinados ao público-alvo da educação especial. Além disso, buscou-se leituras que discorressem a respeito dos fatores que envolvem um painel sensorial. Diante das análises feitas, constatou-se os resultados positivos que este instrumento traz aos alunos das salas de recursos, garantindo seu desenvolvimento tanto no aspeto cognitivo quanto no social. Percebeu-se ainda, que, por mais que existam painéis adaptados para crianças de diferentes faixas etárias e que apresentam diversificadas demandas educativas, há a necessidade de se ampliar e reforçar o uso desse instrumento nos espaços voltados para a educação especial.

Abstract:
Starting from the interaction of the researchers with students in the resource room of a public school in Teresina-PI, the need to look for strategies to help those students in their learning difficulties has come out. For this reason, through this research, which has a bibliographic characteristic, we sought information regarding the “sensory panel” were sought. This work seeks to analyze the functioning of a sensory panel and its relationship with the learning process of students who are the target audience of resource rooms. As specific objectives, we intended: to understand the sensory panel in all its aspects; to verify how the sensory panel can assist the global development of students; to verify, using a collection of literary works, how the sensory panel has been used in schools with students who are the target audience of special education. A bibliographic search was made from 2 (two) monographs that describe the construction of panels and sensory activities focused on the target audience of special education. In addition, readings were sought to discuss about the factors that involve a sensory panel. In view of the analyzes carried out, the positive results that this instrument brings to the students of the resource rooms were verified, guaranteeing their development both in the cognitive and social aspects. It was also noticed that, even though there are panels adapted for children of different age groups and that present diverse educational demands, there is a need to expand and reinforce the use of this instrument in room dedicated to special education.
