O MOVIMENTO NEGRO BRASILEIRO COMO ATOR POLÍTICO-EDUCACIONAL: UM OLHAR PARA A LEI Nº 10.639/2003
O presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir a relação entre a implementação da Lei nº 10.639/2003 e a trajetória do Movimento Negro Brasileiro, visualizando-o como agente político, social e educativo. Tendo por base a pesquisa bibliográfica, buscou-se responder: “Qual a relação entre a Lei nº 10.639/2003 e o percurso formativo do Movimento Negro?”. Diante do estudo, é possível compreender que o trabalho pedagógico para a promoção de boas relações étnico-raciais, aos moldes da Lei nº 10.639/2003, possibilita transformações de atitudes e de compreensão da realidade. Contudo, para que essas potencialidades sejam reais é preciso antes olhar para a trajetória do Movimento Negro e para toda a produção de conhecimentos oriundos das realidades sociais enfrentadas pelos povos negros.

Abstract:
This paper discusses the relationship between the implementation of Law No. 10.639/2003 and the trajectory of the Brazilian Black Movement as a political, social and educational agent. Based on bibliographical research, we sought to answer: “What is the relationship between Law No. 10.639/2003 and the formation pathway of the Black Movement?”. In view of this study, it is possible to understand that the pedagogical work to promote good ethnic-racial relations, in accordance with Law No. 10.639/2003, enables changes in attitudes and in the understanding of reality. However, for these potentialities to be real, first it is necessary to look at the Black Movement’s trajectory and at all the knowledge production arising from the social realities faced by black people.
