Abstract: This article analyzes the applicability of the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) method in the educational context, with an emphasis on qualifying pedagogical planning as a strategic management and continuous improvement tool. Originally developed in the field of administration and quality management, PDCA is explored here from an educational perspective, considering its cyclical structure and adaptability to teaching and learning processes. The research is qualitative in nature and based on a literature review, engaging with authors who address school management, pedagogical planning, and reflective teaching practices. The article discusses the importance of integrating the PDCA steps into the daily routine of educational institutions, from the definition of pedagogical goals to the systematic analysis of results obtained, promoting evidence-based adjustments and innovations. It argues that the conscious and contextualized application of the method can enhance the efficiency of educational initiatives, foster a culture of formative assessment, and contribute to the development of participatory school management oriented toward concrete results. The study concludes that PDCA, when incorporated critically and intentionally, can become an important ally in building more organized, coherent and effective pedagogical processes.
