O LÉXICO E A EXPRESSIVIDADE EM LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA: UM CAMINHO PARA O ENSINO // THE LEXICON AND EXPRESSIVITY IN PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE: A PATH TO TEACHING
O presente artigo visa a abordar estilo e estilística, com vista a subsidiar as aulas de língua portuguesa destacando-se a sua expressividade como recurso para a comunicabilidade. Pretende-se focalizar o estilo, os gêneros textuais e a variação linguística, em atos comunicativos, observando-lhes a adequação de estilo. Tratar-se-á da formalidade, da informalidade e dos usos estéticos. Em especial será contemplada a seleção lexical quanto à clareza, à coesão, à coerência e ao alindamento da expressão. A base teórica será a estilística funcional segundo Cohen (1974), Guiraud (1970) e Castagnino (1971). A Estilística, como atualmente é descrita, “não é mais que o estudo da expressão linguística; e a palavra estilo, reduzida à sua definição básica, nada mais é que uma maneira de exprimir o pensamento por intermédio da linguagem” (Guiraud, 1970). Nessa ótica, entende-se que para realizar sua obra, o autor escolhe os seus elementos, pois, na base do estilo há uma escolha do ideal artístico, do material, do foco etc. O estilo vem a ser a transmissão de um momento psíquico único, vivido em dado lugar e em um grupo social determinado; isto é, o estilo transmite o conteúdo artístico da alma do artista por uma modalidade específica, particular. Com essa perspectiva, pretende-se dar subsídios para a prática pedagógica de língua portuguesa para nativos e não nativos, ressalvadas as diferenças de conhecimento prévio dos estudantes. Essa proposta visa a tornar mais dinâmicas e interessantes as aulas de língua portuguesa, promovendo o envolvimento entre estudantes e conteúdos, para que a assimilação seja amplificada.

Abstract:
The aim of this issue is to approach style and stylistics, in order to subsidize Portuguese language classes, highlighting its expressiveness as a resource for communicability. The aim is to focus the style, the textual genres and the linguistic variation, in communicative acts, observing to them the adequacy of style. It will be about formality, informality and aesthetic uses. Particulary, lexical selection will be considered for clarity, cohesion, coherence and alignment of expression. The theoretical basis will be functional stylistics according to Cohen (1974), Guiraud (1970) and Castagnino (1971). Stylistics, as it is currently described, "is no more than the study of linguistic expression; and the word style, reduced to its basic definition, is nothing more than a way of expressing thought through language "(Guiraud, 1970). In this perspective, it is understood that to carry out his work, the author chooses its elements, because, at the base of the style, there is a choice of the artistic ideal, the material, the focus etc. The style comes to be the transmission of a unique psychic moment, lived in given place and in a determined social group; that is, the style conveys the artistic content of the soul of the artist by a specific, modality. With this perspective, it is intended to give subsidies for the pedagogical practice of Portuguese language for natives and non-natives, except for the differences of previous knowledge of the students. This proposal aims to make Portuguese language classes more dynamic and interesting, promoting the involvement of students and content, so that assimilation is amplified.
