“O JORNAL BURGUÊS CONSEGUE FAZER-SE PAGAR PELA PRÓPRIA CLASSE TRABALHADORA QUE ELE COMBATE SEMPRE”: FINANCIAMENTO E INDEPENDÊNCIA DE CLASSE NO JORNALISMO SEGUNDO LÊNIN E GRAMSCI
A escatologia sobre o “fim do
jornalismo” colocou em debate formas de
financiamento da imprensa baseadas em
“novos modelos de negócios” do “jornalismo
alternativo”. Esse debate ignora experiências
prévias. O presente texto busca avaliar
um momento em que este debate esteve
presente.
social-democrata e burguesa, observaremos
alguns termos pertinentes para o debate
contemporâneo sobre os “novos modelos de
negócios”.

Abstract:
The eschatology about the “end
of journalism” has challenged forms of media
financing based on “new business models” of
“alternative journalism.” This debate ignores
previous experiences. The present text seeks
to evaluate a moment in which this debate was
present. At the beginning of the 20th century, in
a moment of social transformation, Gramsci and
Lenin questioned the relationship between selffinancing
and independence of the proletarian
press. Thus, in following the arguments of
both on the financing of the proletarian press
and the forms of agitprop, in contrast to the
proposals of the social-democrat and bourgeois
press, we will observe some pertinent terms
for the contemporary debate on “new business
models”.
