O JORNAL “A FÍSICA ONTEM E HOJE” COMO MEIO DE DIVULGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA E DISCUSSÕES DE CIÊNCIA EM SALA DE AULA
O objetivo deste trabalho é
apresentar um material no formato de jornal,
intitulado “A Física Ontem e Hoje”, voltado para
a discussão e divulgação científica, assim como
expor as vertentes pelas quais tal material
tem sido utilizado. O jornal é produzido com o
planejamento conjunto de bolsistas de iniciação
à docência, estudantes de Licenciatura em Física
e coordenadores do projeto. A proposta tem dois
objetivos, o primeiro fomentar discussões em
sala de aula sobre conceitos físicos atrelados a
fatores históricos, tecnologias e acontecimentos
atuais, despertando o interesse pela ciência
no ensino médio. O segundo objetivo está
relacionado com a divulgação científica dentro e
fora do ambiente escolar, com a disponibilização
do jornal produzido em bancas de jornal, nos
murais das escolas participantes do projeto e
em pontos específicos do campus universitário.
Até o momento foram confeccionadas vinte e
cinco edições do jornal, sendo que cada uma
conta com uma versão impressa e uma versão
online. As atividades realizadas em sala de aula
com a utilização do jornal têm apresentado bons
resultados, com estudantes mais interessados e
participativos durante as aulas. Os usufrutuários
da comunidade, acadêmica ou não, tem tecido
elogios às edições produzidas. Espera-se
que tal atividade possa se estender e atingir
um quantitativo maior de leitores, de modo a
auxiliar na redução do analfabetismo científico,
e que o jornal possa ser conhecido e utilizado
por mais professores interessados em realizar
um ensino de ciência pautado no diálogo e na
troca de significados que façam sentido para os
atuais estudantes.

Abstract:
The objective of this work is to
present a material in the newspaper format,
entitled “The pass and present of Physics”,
focused on the discussion and scientific
dissemination, as well as exposing the slopes
for which such material has been used. The
journal is produced with joint planning of
scholarship initiation fellows, undergraduate
physics students, and project coordinators. The
proposal has two objectives, the first to foster
classroom discussions about physical concepts
tied to historical factors, technologies and current events, arousing interest in science
in high school. The second objective is related to the scientific dissemination inside
and outside the school environment, with the publication of newspaper produced in
newsstands, in the murals of the participating schools of the project and in specific
points of the university campus. So far, twenty-three editions of the newspaper have
been made, each of which has a printed version and an online version. The activities
carried out in the classroom using the newspaper have shown good results, with more
interested and participative students during the classes. The usufructuaries of the
community, academic or not, have woven compliments to the editions produced. It is
hoped that such an activity can extend and reach a larger number of readers, in order
to help reduce scientific illiteracy, and that the journal may be known and used by more
teachers interested in conducting a science education based on dialogue and in the
exchange of meanings that make sense for the current students.
