O JOGO CORRIDA DE CAVALOS COMO RECURSO PEDAGÓGICO NO ENSINO DA COMBINÁTORIA E DA PROBABILIDADE COM ALUNOS DO 8º ANO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL
O presente trabalho foi delineado para identificar os conceitos sobre combinatória e probabilidade e os problemas que emergem em situações de jogo. A pesquisa possui cunho qualitativo e procura compreender o que se revela em um trabalho pedagógico com alunos do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental feito a partir da perspectiva da problematização para responder ao problema de investigação "Quais as contribuições do jogo desenvolvido em uma prática problematizadora no desenvolvimento dos conceitos combinatórios e probabilísticos dos alunos do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental II?" Os objetivos são: identificar as ideias sobre combinatória que surgem do processo presente a problematização em sala de aula e buscar indicativos da contribuição de um estudo com jogos para o desenvolvimento de conceitos combinatórios. Para tanto, foi desenvolvido o jogo “Corrida de Cavalos” em contexto de sala de aula. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram 27 alunos do 8º Ano do Ensino Fundamental, com idades entre 12 e 18 anos. Os dados foram analisados qualitativamente, os resultados mostraram que no contexto de jogo os alunos observaram diversas possibilidades e reflexões para uma melhoria ou aperfeiçoamento das estratégias de jogo e o desenvolvimento de conceitos de combinatória e probabilidade aperfeiçoando seus conceitos matemáticos. A pesquisa possibilitou aos alunos observar possibilidades combinatórias, a regularidade de possibilidades de somas que os levaram a conjecturar hipóteses, a levantar dados, a fazer registros e analisar os procedimentos decorrentes das atividades relacionadas aos jogos. Abstract:
The present work was outlined to identify the concepts about combinatorial and probability and the problems that emerge in game situations. The research has a qualitative nature seeks to understand what is revealed in a pedagogical work with students of the 8th year of elementary school done from the perspective of problematization to respond to the research problem "What contributions of the game developed in a problematizing practice in the development of the combinatorial and probabilistic concepts of 8th graders of Elementary School II?" The objectives are: to identify the ideas about combinatorial that arise from the present process problematization in the classroom and seek indicative of the contribution of a study with games to the development of combinatorial concepts. To do so, the game "Horse Racing" was developed in the context of the classroom. The research subjects were 27 students from the 8th Year of Elementary School, aged between 12 and 18 years. The data were analyzed qualitatively, the results showed that in the context of the game the students observed several possibilities and reflections for the improvement of game strategies, and consequently the development of concepts of and probability by perfecting their mathematical concepts. The research allowed students to observe combinatorial possibilities, the regularity of sum possibilities that led them to conjecture hypotheses, collect data, make records and analyze the procedures arising from the activities related to games. In addition, it urged them to read and interpret game rules, problem solving and record.
