O INÍCIO DA INTERIORIZAÇÃO DEMOCRÁTICA DA EDUCAÇÃO TÉCNICA E TECNOLÓGICA: A CRIAÇÃO DO CAMPUS FORMOSO DO ARAGUAIA, DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DO TOCANTINS (IFTO)
Apresenta-se um pouco da história do Campus Avançado Formoso do Araguaia, do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Tocantins (IFTO), após uma pesquisa bibliográfica de documentos da unidade, com reflexões dos autores, servidores da unidade, bibliotecário e orientador educacional, que descrevem, sob suas óticas, um pouco sobre os elementos de poder entranhados na utopia de espalhar a diversificação da educação profissional e tecnológica pelo Brasil. Essas reflexões, estão à luz de teóricos da educação, defensores da democracia, com ciência sobre a necessidade de ir além da leitura e interpretação de documentos, envolvendo fatores inerentes à localidade, seus sujeitos, atividades e processos, pelo qual, consequentemente, vêm a se tornar patrimônio cultural, material e imaterial do município de Formoso do Araguaia - Tocantins, e seus respectivos vizinhos limítrofes, pertencentes às regiões Norte e Centro-Oeste do país e aprovadas no GT2 de Instituições, Culturas e Práticas Escolares, durante o V ECHO - Encontro de História da Educação do Centro-Oeste.

Abstract:
A little of the history of the Advanced Campus Formoso do Araguaia, of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Tocantins (IFTO) is presented, after a bibliographical research of the unit's documents, with reflections from the authors, unit servants, librarian and advisor education, which describe, from their perspective, a little about the elements of power embedded in the utopia of spreading the diversification of professional and technological education throughout Brazil. These reflections are in the light of education theorists, defenders of democracy, aware of the need to go beyond the reading and interpretation of documents, involving factors inherent to the location, its subjects, activities and processes, by which, consequently, they come to become cultural, material and immaterial heritage of the municipality of Formoso do Araguaia - Tocantins and its respective neighboring neighbors, belonging to the North and Center-West regions of the country and approved in the GT2 of Institutions, Cultures and School Practices, during the V ECHO - History Meeting of Education in the Midwest.
