Abstract: The article addresses the influence of new technologies on corporate strategic planning, focusing on innovation and competitive differentiation. The explosion of the internet in the 1990s, the rise of e-business, and the impact of new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain are analyzed. With the exponential growth of e-commerce during the covid-19 pandemic, companies have adopted Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Analytics (BA) platforms to make data-driven decisions. The implementation of these technologies, though challenging and costly, is essential for companies seeking a competitive advantage. IoT promises to transform supply chains, while AI automates processes and provides powerful predictive analytics. Blockchain and cryptocurrencies are highlighted as crucial tools for international trade. The article concludes that digital transformation must be a strategic priority, requiring not only new technologies but also a change in organizational culture and continuous employee training.
