Abstract: This paper analyzes the impact of negotiations conducted at the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the international market, with a special focus on Brazil's role as a relevant actor in this scenario. The WTO, as the main international organization for regulating trade between nations, plays a crucial role in mediating trade disputes and promoting multilateral agreements. Through a literature review of scientific articles, this study explores how the decisions and agreements established at the WTO influence trade dynamics between countries, especially in a context of globalization and economic interdependence. The analysis covers the structure and functioning of the WTO, the main agreements and negotiations, and the effects of these negotiations on global trade, with a particular focus on developing countries. It concludes that, although the WTO has significantly contributed to reducing trade barriers, there are still challenges to be overcome, such as the need for greater inclusion of developing countries in negotiations and the integration of social and environmental issues into trade policies. Brazil has played an active role in negotiations, defending its commercial interests and promoting a more balanced development agenda
