O IMPACTO DA NOTÍCIA REFERENTE À SÍNDROME DE DOWN E A VISÃO QUE AS FAMÍLIAS TÊM SOBRE A CRIANÇA PÓS DIAGNÓSTICO
Introdução: No momento em que a família recebe o diagnóstico referente à Síndrome de Down (SD) acaba passando por um processo de medo e angústia. Objetivo: O presente estudo analisou discursos produzidos por familiares acerca do impacto do diagnóstico de SD e a visão que eles têm sobre a criança. Metodologia: Este estudo é de caráter qualitativo, transversal e analítico, sendo elaborado a partir da Análise Dialógica do Discurso. O instrumento utilizado na pesquisa foi uma entrevista semiestruturada. Participaram da pesquisa, e responderam a entrevista, três integrantes de três famílias: um pai e duas mães. As entrevistas foram realizadas, entre janeiro e março de 2020, de forma individual e oralmente, em local reservado de uma Associação, frequentada pelos sujeitos com SD. Resultados: A análise dos discursos produzidos pelos pais indica que eles, estão atravessados por vozes, historicamente, enraizadas em uma visão mecanicista acerca da Síndrome de Down, a qual associa quaisquer dificuldades do sujeito apenas aos seus aspectos orgânicos. Considerações Finais: Destaca-se ainda a importância do fonoaudiólogo no acolhimento familiar, promovendo escuta, e assim contribuindo no processo de ressignificação desses discursos em relação ao seu filho e a Síndrome de Down.

Abstract:
Introduction: The moment the family receives the diagnosis related to Down Syndrome (DS), it ends up going through a process of fear and anguish. Objective: The present study analyzed discourses produced by family members about the impact of the diagnosis of SD and their view of the child. Methodology: This study is of a qualitative, transversal and analytical character, being elaborated from the Dialogic Discourse Analysis. The instrument used in the research was a semi-structured interview. Three members of three families participated in the research and answered the interview: one father and two mothers. The interviews were conducted, between January and March 2020, individually and orally, in a reserved place of the Association itself, frequented by subjects with DS. Results: The analysis of the speeches produced by the parents indicates that they, are historically crossed by voices, rooted in a mechanistic vision about Down Syndrome, which associates any difficulties of the subject only to its organic aspects. Final Considerations: The importance of the speech therapist in family care is also highlighted, promoting listening, and thus contributing to the process of reframing these discourses in relation to his son and Down's Syndrome.
