Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into education is driving a significant transformation in the teaching landscape. With the rapid pace of technological evolution, it is essential to understand the real and potential impacts of this integration in order to guide pedagogical practices more effectively. These contexts can encompass personal, social, and institutional aspects, including various forms of communication, and are influenced by the availability of information. The aim of this article is to analyze and reflect on how AI impacts educational practice, considering not only the benefits and challenges but also the ethical issues involved, such as the ongoing professional development of teachers and difficulties in accessing technology. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review of articles addressing AI in various educational contexts. Practically, this approach aligns with descriptive research. For data collection, academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo, and other scientific article repositories were consulted. The impact of Artificial Intelligence on teaching and learning is undeniable, offering a promising horizon for the future of education. Personalizing learning, innovating assessments, and promoting accessibility are just a few of the pathways AI can open. However, it is crucial to address the ethical and practical challenges associated with this integration. By balancing technology with the human essence of education, we can shape an educational future that is both effective and inclusive. Based on the results obtained, it is clear that the use of AI in education and the learning process has various relevant aspects and successful arguments, and can be applied across all educational settings, provided it is adapted ethically to the different stages of human development.
