O IMAGINÁRIO DE ESTUDANTES DE LICENCATURAS EM MATEMÁTICA DE SÃO LUÍS - MA SOBRE A EJA
O Parecer nº. 11/2000 que trata
das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para
Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) destaca
que as licenciaturas e outras habilitações
ligadas aos profissionais do ensino não
podem deixar de considerar, em seus cursos,
a realidade dessa modalidade de educação.
Com base nisso, este trabalho buscou analisar
os discursos, sobre concepções da EJA, de
estudantes dos cursos de Licenciatura em
Matemática de duas universidades públicas
de São Luís – MA, com o intuito de conhecer
o imaginário referente a Educação de Jovens
e Adultos dos estudantes das licenciaturas.
Foram aplicados dois questionários a 11
estudantes matriculados no último ano desses
cursos e as respostas a os questionários foram
analisadas com o aporte teórico da Análise de
Discurso de vertente francesa afiliada a Michel
Pêcheux. Como resultado, constatamos que o
conhecimento dos licenciandos sobre a EJA é
muito pouco ou nenhum e que as instituições
analisadas parecem não se preocuparem na
formação dos futuros docentes para atuar
nessa modalidade de educação. O estudo
sugere mudanças nas disciplinas pedagógicas
dos cursos analisados, possibilitando a inserção
de disciplinas e promoção de discussões sobre
temas relacionados à EJA, em especial sobre a
atuação do professor de matemática em turmas
dessa modalidade.

The Normative document nº.
11/2000 that to sort out Nationals Curriculum
Guidelines for Youth and Adults Education (EJA)
highlight that licentiate and others habilitations
associate to the teaching professional could
not leave of consider, in your courses, the
reality this education modality. Based on this,
the work to look at the discussion about the
understanding of the EJA of students of the
Mathematic Licentiate Course of two Public
University of São Luis - MA, with objective to
know the imaginary concerning the Youth and
Adults Education of licentiate students. Were
applied two questionnaire for 11 matriculated
students on last year these courses and the
answers of questionnaire were analyzed with
theoretical contribution of Discuss Analyzes of
French line affiliated to Michel Pêcheux. The
results, we verified that the knowledge of the
licentiate about the EJA is small or any and
the analyzed institution do not appear to be in this modality of education. The study
suggests the change in the pedagogic subject of analyzed courses for the insertion of
subject and promotion the debates about the subjects related to the EJA, in special
about the actuation of mathematics teacher in classes of this modality.
