O I SALÃO GLOBAL DA PRIMAVERA – ARTES PLÁSTICAS: BRASÍLIA E ESTADO DE GOIÁS, 1973 - REALIZAÇÃO REDE GLOBO
O I Salão Global da Primavera foi
realizado em Brasília, em 1973, pela Rede Globo
de Televisão (TV Globo de Brasília – Canal 10)
e Jornal O Globo, com as colaborações do
Governo do Distrito Federal (Fundação Cultural
do Distrito Federal) e do Estado de Goiás, para
artistas residentes no estado de Goiás e em
Brasília. O objetivo dos realizadores era fazer
levantamento e divulgar a arte destes locais
e adquirir acervo para a coleção da Rede
Globo. Com júri de atuação nacional (Clarival
do Prado Valadares, Olívio Tavares, Jayme
Maurício, Hugo Auler e José Roberto Teixeira
Leite), e muitos prêmios oferecidos, foi um
salão com grande interesse por parte dos
artistas e do público. Conquistaram os prêmios
principais Rubem Valentim, já consagrado, e
os iniciantes Siron Franco, Cleber Gouveia,
Heleno Godoy, de Goiás, e a dupla Antônio
Wanderley e Roseane Marie Alvim, de Brasília.
Foi intensamente noticiado na imprensa local e
nacional. A participação dos artistas de Goiás
causou positiva surpresa para os críticos,
conforme declararam em artigos no jornal
O Globo (RJ) e revista Veja da época. Os
dados foram levantados por meio de pesquisa
bibliográfica; pesquisa de documentos e
entrevistas, realizadas com artistas participantes
do evento e testemunhas do mesmo. Devido à
exigüidade de estudos sobre este Salão, esta
pesquisa pretende contribuir para o registro e
enriquecimento da História da Arte do Centro
Oeste

Abstract:
The First Spring’s Global
Competitive Fair was held in Brasília, in 1973,
by Globo Television Network and Newspaper,
with the collaboration of the Governments of
the Federal District and the state of Goiás, for
artists who resided in Brasília and Goiás. The
organizer’s objective was to survey and promote
the Art of these places and acquire art works for
Globo Network collection. With jury members’
quality (Clarival do Prado Valadares, Olívio
Tavares, Jayme Maurício, Hugo Auler e José
Roberto Teixeira Leite) who were critics with
a highly recognized track, such as São Paulo
Biennial and wrote for national media, besides
the plenty of prizes offered it was a competitive
fair that gathered a lot of interest by the artists,
who applied for participating in great number and
also by the public. To the awarded and selected
veterans like Rubem Valentim, who won the
first place, and beginner artists such as Siron Franco, Cleber Gouveia, Heleno Godoy, from Goiás, and the couple Antônio Delei
and Roseane Marie Alvim, from Brasilia, this Competitive Fair was massively reported
in the local and national press. The artists of Goiás caused a positive surprise for the
critics. The data was collected through bibliographic research, documental research
and interviews with artists. Due to the scarcity of studies about the First Spring’s Global
Competitive Art Fair, this work intends to contribute for the register and enrichment of
the Art History of the Brazilian Centrewest
